Help! Mystery homescreen notification icon
Hi - I have an mystery homescreen icon that I cannot even recognize let alone remove.
It looks like a blue rectangle with a little red start and number 1. See screen shot below.
If you can help me remove it, I'd be grateful.

http://supportforums.blackberry.com/...v=mpbl-1&px=-1 URL of Common Notification Status Icons
I found this on another post with a similar question. Not sure if that's any help however as the icon does not look familiar. In that same post by 'Rootbrain', it said "...Open the messages folder, press U, it will bring forward the last unread notification or message..."

Here's a better picture of the icon...it's to the right the little alarm icon and to the left of the WIFI icon. I have no idea what it is...

Like someone said, check the "Messages" - Those icons are almost always showed there...

that looks like an app, not a native BB notification

It's a notification for Flashlight: 2 For 1. Either an update or some kind of marketing message:
- Select "Messages"
- Press the Menu key and select "View Folders"
- Find and select the folder called "Inbox (Flashlight 2 for 1)"
- You will find the notification in that folder. You can delete the notification after you have read it
