Default Good News for Tmobile with Wind carrying this phone :-)

For all the Tmobile people wanting this phone, Wind just started carrying it for $399 + tax. As far as I know, Tmobile and Wind use same frequencies. Just ordered one and it will be shipped to me in a couple of days

AS far as I know, they do! So yes it should work. A Voda UK handset should also work. My 9900 came with 1,4,8 (3G Bands) which is not what we are used to from Vodafone.

Theoretically wind 9790 should work perfect ally but not the case!
I don’t know if TMO don’t have the service packs for it or what the issue is but.
- No surfing
- No mms
- No blackberry protect
- No Pandora
.... And it goes on

The error message will read “the service plan for you blackberry device does not support this application....”
Or some other such message depending on what your trying to access

found work arounds but not as seamless as expected

You'll need an active phone with T-Mobile and then have to back up the service books and restore them to the 9790 if I'm correct. I'd give you a link to it but I'm on my BlackBerry. If you search you should find it!

Try updating the OS to the latest leaked one and see if it pulls the service books.
