"Free Themes"

Greetings Fellow Crackz, A problem i have is that there aren't enough Free themes available for our 9790.

Decent themes for sale but risk of not really liking it/ working/ visible. I was a theme addict like wanting a new 1 Erday, changing themes erday. morning theme, evening theme, rain theme. I resort to jus wallpapers and the generally Blue Red Green etc themes really hope we get more options soooon.

The reason there are very few themes available for any OS7 device is because RIM hasn't released a compatible version of their Theme Builder software yet.

Many theme builders have found a way round this by using older software, but the process is very complicated and much more restrictive. This is why there are fewer themes, and due to the extra work involved, why most of them are premium. Also with the 9790 being one of the newer devices on the market, most themes haven't been ported over to suit the 480x360 screen size yet.

I've just downloaded the 'Cosmic' free theme from App World - love the colours and the animation.

Actually there are plenty of neat themes even for 9790, but its true they all charge for the good ones.
But honestly, what is one or two bucks for a cool theme that gets you a kind of "new device"-feeling at least for a few days.
A mars bar and a coke are the same price but satisfy me just for a few minutes

I even find myself finding older themes on my bold that i maybe havent used for a few weeks and i reactivate them.
