blackberry bold 9790 application not closing! not sure what it is

My blackberry has a application running in the backround. The application is a black box with a question mark in it. I removed my battery like 3 times and and restarted it, it is still there. The application says "tweeting" under it. I even restored it and the problem still exists. I try to open it, and it just takes me to the home screen. It is really killing my battery. Please let me know ASAP because i need to close that app now. At first i thought it was twitter, i deleted it and restarted the phone and it was still there.

it is most likely the BB device analyser, have you got screen grabber or screen muncher installed?

I have the same problem on my blackberry 9900. After I updated the phone OS it wasn't there, then it popped up out of the blue showing an app called tweeting running in the background with a question sign. Tried to find it and delete it but no such luck. Its been on my phone for a while but I haven't seen it cause any problems on my phone but I would still like for it to be removed.
