my new blackberry 9790 doesn't charge fully " usually stop at 80% "
i have upgrade to V7.1.0.746 and still the same
and i changed battery today but no thing change :\
i don't know where is the problem >,<'

+ Charging too slowly

+ when i charging via USB Cable show me Cable icon and don't charge

Hello,
Try to analyze what's happening using the OS Engineering screen or if you don't have time or skills go and take your phone to blackberry technical service.

1. Active Engineering Screens Contents
1.1 shift + alt + h (enter the help me! screen)
1.2 alt + back key to the browser
1.3 dl.dropbox.com/u/9610464/HelpScreen.html
1.4 enter the requested data, and remember to put in the app version also the data between brackets. To know all the data use alt + back key to the help me! screen (you don't have to close help screen) and alt + back key to the browser.
1.5 when you fill the device pin, the app version and the uptime choose the time you want to have activated the Engineering Screen Contents
1.6 remember the key and alt + back key to the help me! screen
1.7 write using normal letters and numbers (alt pressed) the key
1.8 Engineering Screen Contents appears
2. Enter OS Engineering Screens
2.1 shift + alt + h (is the short-key to enter) BTW you also are in the Engineering Screen Contents from the 1.8, so use the touchscreen and enter OS Engineering Screens
2.2 enter Battery
2.3 enter Battery Charging Screen
2.4 plug the power cord and see the info
2.5 try to force USB or AC charge (depends in the charging method used) via the BB button to see if the parameter change in case of strange data (if not charging).

Be careful with this, remember that this tools are very dangerous and could break the phone.

I think there are a bug with a 746 i have same things with my muggen battery last 5 days... Just switch to original battery and same things... Really strange but the battery is okay for a full busy day like before

i've downgrade to 714 , and still same problem :S

.746 was a OS for my 9790 ... .714 is so far the bost i've ever used with this phone ... mine had this issue where it wouldnt charge past 90% but after a few hours I replguged it and it charged all the way up to 100% no problem.
