Anyone know when the 9790 will hit the UK

Just like the title says, does anyone know when the UK will get the 9790.

Specifically Voda.

Shouldn't be long now Alan... Voda are already showing .528 as official for the 9790, even though they're not actually showing the phone as coming soon yet.

I wouldn't mind betting it will be a mute release, similar to how the 9780 was, where it will just appear when stock of the 9780 is depleted.

What what........I have been away to the dark side for 2 months after years with BB I am jumping back as sooooon as the 9790 is released here on O2 in the uk.......any inside ofo on the scoop?
Just cannot get away from the super fast real time push, keyboard, size and workhorse features that make it the perfect combo.

You can buy a Blackberry Bold 9790 from a Canadian carrier and unlock it, then use it with your sim card in Europe.

I'm going to go India for a holiday, seen that the 9790 has already been released there. Question is if I buy a sim free BB9790 from India just now and use it there for a while, and then come back to the UK and insert my O2 card, will I have to reset the phone to enable the BIS over O2?

As long it's a free-contract unlocked phone, it should be usable with any SIM card.
