Hi Guys,

I'm having a bit of a problem with my new software update.

I've now been trying to update my software for 5 hours. The software download all went fine, but then it started to 'Back Up Data'

Got to 11% fine, and now its stuck trying to back up social feeds.

Dont know what to do! I've tried to reset it, battery pull, power off, full power off. but its still sat on 11%

ive tried to plug it into the PC, but its not connecting....

Even after pulling the batt it's still stuck in the upgrade? That's odd... And when you plug it in to your PC and than do a reset? Does that give any response?

nothing is happening when i plug in to the PC. its not picking it up at all. i pulled the battery out and it did that reboot screen, and then went back to the update

You could try with BBSAK or JL_Cmder. Search the forum here. I had something similar once a few years ago with a Bold 9000 and had it solved thru JL_Cmder if I remember correctly. Not sure how tho...

I'll keep an eye open and come back as soon as I find anything!

its just come up with 'restoring your data'

Sometimes i wish i'd stuck with Nokia....

'restore failed' handheld shutting down. I give up, there is a nice field round the back of the house which will make a great burial.
