9790 does not lock on holstering. Password is set up and machine set to lock on holstering. The BB holster seems to have a working magnet (at the back towards the bottom). Have not changed my OS for a long time. Done a battery pull with no improvement.

Any help/advice gratefully received!

Apologies ... but I have had problems with this issue for a couple of days. Ironically, within a few minutes of posting I discovered the solution. I wondered (in my rather simple-minded way) whether the magnet should have been at the bottom of the holster, so removed the phone, turned the holster over and tapped it sharply on the table. Out popped a coin! So not only does my phone work perfectly again but I am the grand sum of tuppence richer!
