Default Urgent : Signal Problem 9780

Okay so I'm having this problem on my 9780 where I am receiving full strong signals but I cannot make or receive calls,it says "Call Failed" after a few seconds of dialing any number. I cannot even send text messages, they are taking a long long time to go through. Secondly, there is a constant change of EDGE to GSM to edge. And it is also showing the outgoing & ingoing arrows in its signal bars if you get what I'm trying to say.
Now I thought its an OS issue so I reinstalled it,nothing happened. I tried downgrading it,nothing happened, its still the same. I tried replacing a fully working SIM of my other phone but it still has the same problem. Please help. Please do not write back kiddish answers of contacting my service provider,as I mentioned I tried other sims, its not a sim problem, its a phone problem.

Reminds me of the collision problem with the 8830. If you've done the basic troubleshooting, chances are it's a hardware problem.

Yeah it probably is a hardware problem,as I mentioned earlier I have already both upgraded AND downgraded the OS.
Ironically when I went to a professional to complain about the issue, the phone suddenly started to work perfectly & the guy thought I'm crazy. And after a few hours it acted up again.

so with intermittent hardware issues, you just have to sit at a service center & hope that the problem you're facing shows up to substantiate what you say.

No doubt, its hardware & tranceiver oriented.
