upgraded facebook and now facebook icon not on homepage so no way to access

yesterday I upgraded the facebook app version. Now the facebook icon is no longer available on the homepage so i have no way to launch it.

Delete it from your Applications list and reinstall. Apparently you had a corrupted download, which I've had happen before. A delete and reinstall usually fixes it.

in the main app screen, press BlackBerry button, choose "Show all" and try to find FB icon. if it's shown, move the cursor to icon, press BlackBerry button, choose "Hide" again to uncheck it.

any other ideas? when i am on home page and say "all", facebook still not showing, but it is loaded as an app. It was always there before until recent upgrade of facebook app.i even tried deleting app and reloading.

i tried that, but even though, i said delete instead of uninstall, when i went to reload the app, it said reinstall, so i'm not sure it deleted properly.

Delete app in app manager, not delete at home screen. Restart. Re-install and restart again.

keeps giving me the same version when i reinstall. it's like it never properly deleted? do i have to wait for the next facebook upgrade (to get rid of this corrupted version) before this can be fixed?

Did you try what post#6 suggests: delete from Application Manager?
