Telus on Rogers network?
Could someone please confirm that an unlocked Telus 9780 will run on the Rogers network. Thanks.

Correct. I'm not 100% certain, it might just work as is... Try the unlocking fourms...

You'll be fine, and shouldn't need to search anywhere for service books. They'll be pushed to the phone as soon as you put your SIM in and connect to the network

Great - thanks. Is there anything else I need to know or do before I trade my Torch on Rogers for a 9780 on Telus?
The only other thing I suppose is to check for the double type. The 9780 I'm swapping to is ~ 5 months old so if I give it a typing test I assume the double type problem would have manifested by now. Is this a correct assumption or can it develop at anytime? - 05-16-2011, 08:32 PM #9
no you are fine... i am using a bell 9780 on rogers without issues... just need to get it unlocked thats it
