I just downloaded an SMS counter app.

When I click on the icon to open the app and check my statistics, it says the following:

"Error: Open SMS port fail and SMS Statistics will not function correctly. Please check whether other SMS related app has occupied the SMS port already."

Can anyone tell me how I can find this?

Try asking the people you got the app from. They would give better \ quicker support.

Otherwise it is impossible for us forumites to guess what is installed on your phone. Could help by naming the app you are having problems with, and then name the other apps you are using.

You'd also get a wider response by asking this question in the apps forum.
