Hi everyone,

The ringing volume on my boss's 9700 has mysteriously gone softer. It's already set on level 10 and he had not changed anything on the profile. Other sounds notifications (like the bbm and emails) work as normal,, just the ringing volume.

Any ideas why ?

Try & ask your boss if he remembers doing anything to the profile/options before the ringtone messed up? I could maybe try to help.

Or it could be in the holster so it sounds abit softer, it automatically does that sometimes. You need to makesure by using the settings that it is out of the holster. If not, has he tried doing a battery pull yet?

I agree, check to see if the profile was changed and/or customized. Click on the speaker symbol and scroll all the way to the bottom of the list and select change sounds and alerts and then set them up again from there.
