    Default problem with my 9780

    When I dont have a 100% full battery and want to take a photo (Flash on) the phone just turn off sometimes happens to me for about 7 times this week, btw I'm using v6.0.0.706 please help me to solve this problem is it a battery problem or a software problem
    p.s. I'm using this battery since January

    haven't heard of such issue on 9780 till know, i am also on 706 and haven't had faced any such issue. get it checked at bb service center

    LOL (well not really), I remember my 8130 used to do that back in the day. So annoying! My 9780 does randomly reboot on me though. It just happened to me tonight when I tried to take it out of standby. I thought updating firmware would help it, but 3 versions have all done the same thing. I'm wondering if my device has a slight case of water damage. I know BlackBerry's are really sensitive to humidity, and it was quite humid last time I was in Mexico. That's all I can figure.

    Sounds like when you take a photo there is a dip in the power or the battry doesn't give enough power, that wud restart the phone, buy a new battry that should fix it, if not its the phone hardware itself that isn't controlling the power correctly and will need to be sent in.
