Why is it that i can only move my camera pictures to other folders... but the option is not there for any other picture folder... or anything :S ! why would they remove this option??!? i use to be so organized with my pearl 9100 nd now im just a mess ...
is it gone or am i just retarded? i tried organizing it through plugging it in my computer and just drag and dropping but it made errors on my media card and i had to format it ...
i dont want to use desktop manager.. WHY WOULD THEY TAKE THIS OUT???

You could try moving them using the Files app.

I'm having the exact same problem. I even went into the "Files" application and I don't have a "Move" to a different folder there either. It's as though that isn't something you can do on a media card.

If you go into your picture library, you can cut from, say, your unfiled section, and then paste into whatever section you want. That's the move feature for you.

super irritating
this os6 operating system has some major flaws like this; the only way I have been able to move my photos is to open the picturelibrary, select photos (hold the ALT button and then click the photos you want; this works like using ctrl or shift on a computer to select multiple files), blackberrybutton CUT, then click back twice (once only 'undoes' the photos you selected, second time to go to pictures folder list), scroll to the folder you want to paste into, blackberrybutton PASTE and they will transfer.
Exploring the media folder, and going into the file folder to cut and paste DOES NOT WORK unfortunately.
I as well am missing my pearl9100 and os5 to the max. - 02-15-2013, 03:01 PM #8
Download a free file called Rock File Manager. I use it to cut and paste pictures into other folders.
Download Rock File Manager 1.0.1 for Smartphone~DENISE~
YES, I DO BELIEVE THAT I AM WORTH IT!
