OS 7 For the Bold 9780?
I did find a way of loading the OS 7 on bold 3. As the bold 3 has a 512MB RAM. There is another device running the OS 7 with 512 MB RAM! The Curve 9320. It has a 512MB RAM too. The OS 7 loaded in the new Curve 9320 is downloadable here ''Crackberry.com/blackberry-os'' here when you scroll down u'll find the OS 7 for curve 9320. download it and load it in you're blackberry bold 3 which has a 512 mb ram too!
The Curve 9320 is the only curve sporting OS 7 with just 512MB of ram. so the bold 3 having a 512mb ram too can possibly run the OS 7 loaded in the Curve 9320. simple.

I was under the impression that there were Hybrid OS builds containing OS 7 cods that were loaded on various devices(OS 6).
I know there was a version for 97xx, but I haven't seen anything about it for awhile. Try Google.
If it were only RAM that mattered, but it's not.Cuius testiculos habes, habeas cardia et cerebellum...

when are people going to understand that our device will NEVER get os7?? Does my head in, all these people need to read before posting such rubbish like 'i did find a way of loading os7 on bold 3'
Yeah course you did, and im really Elvis Presley reincarnated......Back on a BlackBerry device after a stint on some Android devices!! - 06-16-2012, 06:27 AM #9
again and again , ONYX2 (9780) (BOLD 3) will NOT get OS7 FOREVER
if you wanna get OS7 , let's switch device to Bold 4 (9790) , Torch 2 (9810) , Dakota (9900) , Monza (9860) , and another BlackBerry 7 devices
or you can get a hybrid OS , it have some modul of OS7 :P
upps , too much bulls**t in here ,
don't be like pathetic person
why you only spotted the RAM of 9780 ? why not the processor ?
9320 = 800 MHz
9780 = 624 MHz
i have 9780 before , with OS6 9780 already very laggy , can you imagine if there is OS7 in 9780 ? i can't imagine how slow it is .
I suggest you do not expect anymore about OS7 in 9780, unless you change the device to blackberry 7 deviceLast edited by noez92; 06-16-2012 at 06:43 AM.
