Official OS 6.0.0.723 for Bold 9780 from Partner Communications Israel

BlackBerry Bold 9780 users get another official OS update today, this time as OS 6.0.0.723 from Partner Communications Israel. No word in just yet as this one is hot off the presses, so if you install be sure to hit the forums and let us know what's new and good. Even though this is an official release, always use caution when updating your device software.

I just finished installing this and running on Mobilicity... I will update this post as I put it thru its paces.

I haven't charged my battery since last evening when I did the update and I'm still at 35%... have been using it heavily since.

I also do not have "Compose PIN Message" either- since I've never used that and don't even know what that is, I'm not missing it.

I'm happy with it. Works perfectly on Mobi as well for anyone curious- reception is awesome.

WoW - WoW !! Awesome Radio quality ... just latches onto the 3G signal AND doesn't let even 1 BAR even flicker ... Am yet to try Voicecalls but am pretty confident its gonna be extremely good [ just hope that it doesn't eats up all my battery juice whilst it shows-off its excellence

Otherwise - dont see anything much different from the last .706 update. Indeed - Compose PIN vanishes but a reboot restores it ... is this a new RIM trick up their sleeve ?

Default BBM ver is 6.0.0.132 but am moving to 6.1.0.37 that has profile pic animation & colored bubbles ...

wait , only reboot it will appear ? in 706 i,ve reboot so many times but it didn't appeared

I updated about an hour ago, and I have to say that the signal quality is fantastic! I am locked on 3G, when before it would constantly switch between 3G and EDGE. Browsing isn't too bad either

I still don't have a problem with PIN messaging. I can go to Messages and Compose PIN just fine.

I haven't noticed anything else yet though, but this build seems to be a winner for me.

Downloaded and loaded really fast. Seems ok, seems very responsive but then so did 706. Mem seems good too.

The Radio quality is outstanding on both Voice & Data !!

Technically - YES!

But with .706, even Day-1 was no worse than Day 20. Hence, the 1st day's report ...

installed it yesterday, device seems super snappy. Signal Reception is similar to .706 battery life needs to be assessed. Will keep you guys posted.
Funny nothing every body seems to be complaining about Compose PIN disparaging in .706 and know on .723 but not even once has this happened with me
