was able to install by removing everything in apploader folder restart computer and reinstalling latest os thanks

Search for and delete the vendor.xml file and include hidden and system areas.

having a "nasty vendor file" somewhere so AppLoader ain't doing its job ...
looks like gotta spend time lukin' for that s**t & kick it out.

Will do this os update at a time later when I have some time on my hands ...

Meanwhile would appreciate to hear impressions from other installers.

Thanks for the heads up OP.
Been up and running for a few hours. As usual, I don't see too much of a difference.
I gained about 10mb, but after registering everything, I really only gained about 5mb.

What I am seeing that I didn't notice in .666 or .668 is that within Options->Third Party Applications I see "Personalization & Privacy for BBM". I don't remember seeing that before. Maybe it was there prior, and I never noticed it? Has anyone else seen this before?

Anyway, its running great so far.
I wont be able to say anything about the battery life yet for a couple of days though.
