New Owner of 9780!
So I finally decided and got on ship with the 9780 and haven't regretted it! Story is, I shifted ships earlier this month, I went for the Nexus S and hated it. Sold it and looked for a reliable BlackBerry, I wanted to avoid touch screens as much as possible. So it was 9360 vs. 9780 and I'm glad I went with the Bold. An amazing phone. And I love it! Just thought I'd share (:

New Owner of 9780!
The 9780 is possibly the greatest overall BlackBerry ever produced in my opinion. The keyboard is not as luxurious as the new Bolds in terms of size but still top top notch. The smaller size is actually an advantage. Tough. Can take some abuse. Autofocus cam. Great battery life. Great call quality. Feels great to hold.

You won't regret your choice. I feel it is the best BB I have owned also. Battery life rocks compared to android phone.

Glad to see people are still getting the good ol 9780s the 9780 forum has been pretty quiet since the release of bb7 and all the bb10 hype. Hope your loving this wonderful device!

yep
its 100% a solid device - not flashy but gets the job done. a good theme to make it look like os 5 (hate the 6 desktop) is http://www.moritzzimmer.com/SE6/com_...le_Elegan6.jad and you can also get v5 ringtones for it if you desire. I think quicklaunch is one of the better apps out there, check it out you might agree. to me 723 is faster overall than 722 if you are updating. amazing camera and options

Show me a berry that wasn't a performer during it's time...
Problem is, specs get quickly outdate because they are usually already one level below what's currently being used.
But yeah, I don't see much point getting BB7 device is you have a 9780. Sure it could have shipped with a 800hmz processor... But still gets *&¨¨% done faster than half the Android army out there.
