Need OTA or Installation Files for Dictionary.com

Hey everyone,

I needed some help with a FREE app I have been dying to reinstall since i upgraded to a 9780. Unfortunately the app can no longer be downloaded by users in the UAE (And some other countries too, I'm sure).

Whenever I want to install the Dictionary.com app from Dictionary.com - it keeps taking me to App World, where it tells me that it is not available in my country.

Can I request the community members to post links to a working jad file, or the actual COD / ALX files (via BBSAK) for the latest version of the app. I also know that it is a free app for all countries - so I don't think there is any problems with redistribution. Please post a link or the actual files. many thanks in advance.

Anyone know how to get this working properly on the bold 9900?? I got it to run but the images are kind of distorted.

This cod was extracted from a 9780. The res is different from the 9900's so this could be the reason. See if you can get somebody with a 99xx to extract the cod and post it.

Use BBSAK. Go into the 'Modify CODs' section, then install from there.

Indeed! I went to rroyy.com/dictionary/dictionary.jad to get v1.4 back. The v2.0 web launcher is a joke!

Could someone load the files similar to the one the OP asked for, except that I want the ones that work for the curve 8520. I tried to go to the link rroyy.com/dictionary but I get the 907 invalid COD Unable to import ZIP file error, and the problem with the current one is that it's made for a BB with higher resolution, so it doesn't fit very well in my screen.

I'll post an OTA link later today. On the PlayBook now and I have no ideal what my server's access stuff are.
