My new 9780 is very slow

I just get a 9780 after a lot of time with a 9700, and i feel my 9780 very slow, same that my old 9700 with OS6. I have wiped and updated my 9780 to 668, but its very slow.

Why? Its normal? do i need try others SO versions?

I am a little bit disappointed, expected more speed and fluidity.

Define "slow". In what area is it too slow for you?

I run .666 and it seems fine to me. Browser can take a little time but I usually put that down to my 3G strength.

Slow in general, the menus and switch between apps is not fluid. I feel the same with my old 9700 with OS6. The screen and movements are slow.

My old 9700 with OS5 is faster.

Check what apps you have running. What's your free RAM like? Reboot it by removing the battery.

Walk into a phone shop and play with a demo model or grab a friend's 9780 to see if that is as "slow".

Not having much to compare it with, mine seems fine. Through my job I have used a few Blackberry's, iPhones, Androids of my clients and don't notice that my Bold is noticeably worse or anything.
