    Exclamation Is my 9780 nuked?

Realized I slept through my alarm this morning, grabbed my phone and the screen was black and it was not on. Battery pulled it a few times, red light comes on for a few seconds and screen stays black. Red light goes away and the screen stays black and nothing else happens.

Keep in mind my first 9780 I exchanged because the thing was laggy and simply did not work. Now this.

I've been a BB user for a decade. This device has been a terrible experience. I'm wondering if its even worth my time to fix this thing.

Anyone else have this problem and fix it? Do I follow the nuked BB instructions to try to fix it?

I haven't been impressed with RIMs progress and I think this is the week I try android powered device if not even an iPhone. I really do not want to switch carriers though.

Return it, it is under warranty!

If you have been happy with RIM for a decade, this should not turn you away, for ever, from RIM. I have "wandered away" but always returned to RIM!

I would go return it for sure, why go through the whole process of reloading the OS when you can just get a fresh new one?

If you want to stick with T-Mobile I would advise against the Samsung Vibrant if you're interested in Android phones, unless you're a fan of horrible battery life and non-functioning GPS.

I would just return it for a new one.

I would try plugging it in without the battery in it. Then, if the no battery thing shows up, toss the battery in it and go. If that doesn't work then yes, exchange.

Exchange it for a new one, that's what warranties are for
