I have bought recently a bold3 9780 ... it is locked on Vodafone network ... I took my phone to a local shop for unlocking but they said that it cannot be unlocked at the moment ... because there is some thing wrong with the timer .. it is reset or they were saying something like its timer is Zero ... or there were unsuccessful unlocking attempts on the device ... they were saying u have to wait for few days .. I dont know why ... I have purchased BB for the first time in life ... so can u plz help me in this

Sounds like someone used up all 10 attempts trying to unlock this phone. Your only option at this point is a DM3 unlock, IF it's available for the 9780.

Otherwise, you should get your money back from the seller who sold you a hard locked device without telling you that it was hard locked.
