halo, ada yang ngerti soal service book (SB) gak?
mohon bantuannya yah =)
ada yang tau apa fungsi SBEB dan SBDB?

Saya memakai provider XL dan BB Onyx 2 (9780).
Saya pernah ganti SB saya dengan SB punya orang lain (saya masukan SB orang lain ke dalam BB saya pakai Desktop Manager). Tapi pada waktu saya coba cek pulsa, SB orang lain yang sudah di inject ke dalam BB saya itu, berubah jadi SB saya yg semula, yang asli dari XL. Akhirnya saya coba untuk tidak cek pulsa, dan SB di BB saya tidak berubah, hingga akhirnya pagi hari saya ck lagi, SB saya udah berubah lagi jadi SB asli dari XL.
Mengapa saya memakai SB orang lain? karena dengan SB tersebut, saya bisa browsing, meskipun saya tidak mendaftar paket BB Unlimited. Memang sih saya dikenakan tarif WAP/GPRS, tapi setidaknya BB saya bisa berfungsi untuk browsing disaat saya benar2 memerlukannya, tanpa harus ikut paket unlimited yang mahal.

Saya pernah mencoba dengan shortcut SBDB, dngan maksud agar SB saya tidak berubah/ter-update, tapi tidak berhasil. SB saya tetap saja terupdate dengan SB dari XL.
Dengan SBEB pun tidak ada bedanya. Adakah orang yang tau bagaimana agar SB saya tidak berubah2?
Adakah cara agar SB saya terproteksi?

Why do I use SB others? due to the SB, I can browse, although I did not sign up unlimited BB package. Sure I was charged at WAP / GPRS, but at least I can serve to BB when I was browsing benar2 need it, without having to join an expensive unlimited package.

I've tried a shortcut SBDB, SB * with the intention that I have not changed / updated, but to no avail. SB I still update with SB XL.
With SBEB was no different. Is there anyone who know how to SB I do not berubah2?
Is there a way to SB I protected?

I have a 9780 blackberry and I want to use my own service book (a modified service book). but everytime RIM refresh their network, my own SB is replace by RIM's/provider's. And it really sucks because I cant make my own SB stop refreshing. I want to protect my own SB, so there is no way it changed into another SB from RIM/provider. Please anyone help me. thank you very much.

i dont think there is anything you can do, as the service books are continuously pushed to the phone. alot of people had this issue when trying to use a verizon storm 2 on at&t. the at&t service books would get overwritten by verizon ones once the phone was reregistered on the network or the phone rebooted.

dictoresno's absolutely right. Carriers push their service books at least every 24 hours, and you probably get them each time you restart as well. If you want to use a custom service book, you'll have to reload it every time it disappears. No way around it.
