    Default Maps Help

Hey guys, I have 9780 on version .723
I am trying to use maps on it, I never tried it till now but I now I want too. The thing is there is NO MAPS ICON! I tried opening Options>Device>App Mgmt, and I see BB maps as installed but there is no icon.

What to do guys? Please help.
I am on Airtel, India. Thank you

Edit: It's not listed in desktop manager or App loader though.

Have you checked if the icon is hidden? In Universal Search, try tying in "maps." If the icon shows up and is lighter than the other search results, it's hidden.

You can unhide icons by first pressing the menu key, selecting "show all " and then when the icon is visible, going back into menu and unchecking "hide."

I'm sorry I don't use any mapping apps, and more importantly, I don't know what your app options in India are.

If you have a phone OS installed on your computer, you could try launching loader.exe and see it shows the app available for installation.
