Keyboard troubles

Hello,

recently I've been having some trouble with my keyboard, the call end key still works when I want to turn my phone on but it doesn't work when it's on, wont end calls or let me use it to turn off and for some reason the P key doesn't work either, I've wiped it and restored it but still experiencing the same troubles. Any one have any ideas?

P.S. did try searching this and couldn't find anything, sorry if it's already been discussed

It could be the membrane has been worn out or a faulty keyboard membrane.

so looks like I'd have to send it off for repairs?

Well you can also do it yourself if you want? But it voids the warranty.

Take it in to your provider store, they can check it and make a suggestion as to what it may be or how long it make take to repair it. If you have insurance on your phone they may offer you a replacement phone on the spot.

It's probably out of the warranty by now, how do you go about doing it yourself?

I did this just the other day! It's easy peasy... I also changed the housing, and trackpad in the same time. The phone felt like a new one afterwards and now I get this feeling that the trackpad and keyboard has always been bad..
