Just picked up a used 9780
Bought this used and all I can say is, why didn't I do this sooner? 3 days on the battery with bridging, BT,wifi all on. Listening to music in the gym and put back on charger last night with 15 percent left. Wow. I love this previously loved berry.

I thought I would get this one until the next generation is released, and I will not regret it, it seems.

Wow, thanks for confirming that I picked the right one.

I did too got it used a nice white one, and it stutters... That is a blower because i feel like changing back to my curve 8900. It also makes me push harder for the "w" button. I payed 130 which is fair but i feel ripped off for getting a defective phone. I ordered a new full housing kit and it should be here any day now, i hope there is a good samaritan that will help me. Thanks im Gabe. Peace

Be sure you bought ''OEM'' keyboard so less chance it will minimize the typing experience.
The 97XX are one of the easiest to replace the full housings. Don't worry it's really easy.
Just take some look on Youtube and in no time you are fixing it.gee gee baby~ - 04-29-2012, 10:11 PM #11
check the link in my sig if your keyboard starts stuttering letters.

yaredaya, if you have OS 6.0.0.650 or newer (I think), the keyboard shouldn't stutter.

This man talks the truth. Bold's before .650 OS were a pain. My phone would stutter like a mad man, totally at random, and was a right pain to use. Swapped to a newer OS and all is now calm. Stunningly so. You also get better UMA on a new OS (and the upgrade is really simple. Easier than swapping the keyboard out)
Currently running .666 and love it. Often laugh at the tiny batteries of iPhone\Android users. Okay, so they have more apps than we do, then then I have a PC and Tablet for apps. My Blackberry is my communications device. (And music player... web browser... etc)
Bolds are great. (They also survive being dropped much better that some poncey touch phone) - 05-05-2012, 05:56 PM #14Current devices: iPhone 4S 32GB (Black) & Blackberry Bold 9930

Yes, sorry for taking the bait, but, it is tiring to have to have a conversation ruined by someone looking for validation. I digress, the Bold 9780 is one great device and should keep me happy until the BB 10 device rolls out, and even beyond, if needed. Cheers
