    Default How to Tether BB 9780 to Windows 8 via bluetooth?

    anybody knows how to connect the 9780 and use its 3G on Windows 8 ? I have done it on Windows 7 but not on Win 8

    I used your info to update the title, hopefully someone will have a better idea how to help you now. I was only able to find articles about wired connections.

    Thanks anyway, I've done it toWindows 7 with no problems, but havent find out the way to do it to Windows 8

    Silly question - why are you still on Win 8.0? Get updated to Win 8.1 first. You need to go to the MS App store to do this.

    There are numerous bug fixes in that update, plus more importantly you will still get Security Updates. Win 8.0 will not be supported into the future as MS expect you to update to 8.1


    Once updated, I have a few notes I made somewhere to get Win7 to work that I can probably convert to Win8

    Also try getting the modem to work with a cable first before swapping to working with Bluetooth.

    I also have done it to Win 7 with no problems (using bluetooth) , but havent find a way in Win 8.1 , even connecting it to USB

    dont do this. Then you wont be able to play flight sim 10!
