How often does the keyboard Stuttering happen?
So I've been looking to trade my mytouch 4G for a blackberry 9780 possibly. I used to have a 9700 and I didn't have any problems on it except for os 6 being a little bit slower. But the first thing I did before I traded was check this forum and I've read a lot of threads that there is keyboard stuttering on the 9780!? I don't want to go from my flawless mytouch 4g to a 9780 that's going to stutter and make it nearly impossible to text. I'm a huge texter (25k a month) and I need a keyboard that functions absolutely perfectly. If this is such a huge problem I"ll just wait for the 9900/9300 when it comes on tmobile! Is there a way I can check the 9780 before I confirm the trade with somebody to ensure it doesn't have a faulty keyboard? Thanks for all the help guys!

If you check the same threads you'll find out that changing the membrane fixes the problem, and which batches of 9780s have, don't have or might develop the issue.
My Hungary 2 for example, developed the issue, but it is nothing that makes texting impossible (annoying hwen it happens while typing passwords thou). - 05-21-2011, 09:15 PM #4
Why no just wait for 9900 anyways it will have a much larger keyboard...

read the thread in my sig. by the way, there are so many threads on this already, its getting kind of repetative. there has to be a few in the first few pages of this 9780 forum. its easily fixed if you decide to trade for one.
