Ok.... so my n00bish skills trying to install a hybrid is far to great! as a result I seek help from the wise mages on the world wide web

So here is the 411 on my 911 I have a 9780 running (6.0.0.666) and would like to go getz me some BerryLicious 6 action...(personally I like this hybrid)

If it also helps I'm running on Vista(32-bit) and using Black Berry Desktop Manager and BSAK

So here is what I tried/Did
1.) Backed up my blackberry twice using both BSAK and BBDS
2.) Downloaded 9780M_v6.0.0.723_P6.6.0.248 (from RIM)
3.) deleted "Vender.XML" file **Note it says wipe the entire base os, does this mean all the folders as well or just the files in the folders***
4.) ran Loader in apploader
5.) WIPED Black Berry using BSAK
6.) downloaded berryliciousandfriends6.exe and ran (placed all the contents in --> 9780M_v6.0.0.723_P6.6.0.248 <--)
7.) Re-ran Loader in apploader (note many options to check off...)
8.) I didn't see the apps that it says it comes with so just installed my backup using BBDM

obvious fail at trying to install hybrid can anyone help me please with my problem

Not to sure if I installed the .723 Version right so this may be the problem???

Go read the instructions again, your steps are messed up. The link you provided has the correct steps.

Step 4: Shouldn't be there
Steps 5 and 6 I think should be switched, but will still work I suppose. You just get to look at the 507 error screen while the hybrid installs.

What your problem is you're installing the OS to your phone when the hybrid hasn't even been put into it yet (hence why step 4 shouldn't be there).

I don't understand why the images didn't show up on my end
Did you delete the vendor.xml file(s)?

What about a screenshot of apploader?
