Did you try doing a soft reset?
If the soft reset still doesn't work, then maybe you can try finding the application in under Options --> Device --> Applications Management, then delete the app. And reinstall.
And for your info, there's a newer version of facebook (3.1.0.11), only available on the Blackberry Beta Zone
Takes less than 5 mins to register, then you can download the newer version of facebook as well as Twitter.

From the main Blackberry menu screen, have you tried pressing the Menu button and checked Show All? Make sure it is not hidden?
Have you scrolled through all the items on the phone menu and checked in all of the folders in case it has accidentally been moved into a folder? - 05-27-2012, 11:16 AM

I encountered this issue with appworld, blackberry protect and facebook. Only way this could happen is one of a few reasons/happenings:
-JVM has lost clusters/crosslinked files in it's structure, using loader.exe /nojvm will layout a new file system.
-Duplicate cod's. (Happened with appworld before) Delete both, reboot.
-some other issue I cannot quite pinpoint. Bad theme settings or icon layout?
