Default Facebook photo album Bug on my BB

I am seeing a mysterious photo album that I did not create on my BlackBerry 9780. When I open facebook on my phone I am seeing two albums named "Wall Photos". one album with 2 pictures and another with 31 pictures. I created the album with 31 pictures in it but i didn't create the other one. When i open facebook on other devices such as my laptop, I only see the album with 31 pictures not the album with only 2 Pictures. Why is that? how do i delete the other album with two Pictures? pls help me

This is likely a bug with facebook itself, not your facebook app on the blackberry. I have several "mobile uploads" albums that were also made prior to even using the app, so it's facebook.

I have the same issue. I have two Wall Photos album on my BB. I can also see them on my PlayBook Facebook application, but only the pictures of one of the albums show on my Wall. How can I delete the one Wall Photos album which is useless? It cannot be seen anywhere on the online Facebook, just on my 2 BlackBerry devices.

If there is nothing in that album, it's a phantom and is hidden from view on facebook until you post something into it. Make a post from the facebook website (not the app) by uploading a photo, it'll then appear, then you can leave it as-is, or delete it.

How can I put a picture using the facebook website into an album that does not show on that website? If I upload a picture, it goes into the album that is shown.

Have you tried uploading it to the phantom album via the app instead? It's just as confusing to me. I have 20 "wall photos" albums and only one on facebook.

Yes, I can upload to the phantom album through the BlackBerry apps, but the album does not show on Facebook and the newly uploaded pictures don't show anywhere but in the phantom album that I can see on both my BB devices through the BB apps.

I managed to delete all but one photos in the phantom album by tagging them to me on the PlayBook app so that they appeared on the wall on the facebook app where I could then delete them. In two cases when I deleted them, it says that the link no longer existed but they still disappeared from the PlayBook app. Unfortunately there is still one picture I cannot get rid of and I have tried everything to make it appear on the wall: tagging, writing comments, like, etc. to no avail.
Btw, the phantom album does not show in the iPad app......where I was thinking of trying to tag the last photo I need to delete so that hopefully the whole phantom album disappears.

I have the same exact issue with a phantom album in my 9900 and have tried everything to get rid of either all of the pics or the whole album but no such luck. I tried setting each pic as my profile pic then delteing each pic from the Fb site but the album and pics still exist. I also tried deleteing the app and reloading it and still the issue. Any help would be much appreciated.

I think this bug is internally within facebook's own servers and there is nothing we can do about it to fix it at all. We need to contact facebook for this issue to be solved, or wait for a fix when a newer release of the Facebook app.
