Dp won't change

Recently I updated my BBM to 7 from BlackBerry Messenger 7.0.0.126 - AppKita - BlackBerry Ota - BlackBerry AppWorld because BBM7 is not supported in UAE

It was working fine for a whole week; suddenly the display picture stuck and won’t change or remove

I tried everything...
1- Uninstall BBM and reinstall it again
2- Replace it with older version and reinstall bbm7
3- Security wipes
4- New OS
5- Update host routing table
6- Pull the battery out for one day

Nothing happened... the DP still same

Any solutions?

2 weeks and the dp wont change and no replies

the only alternative i can offer is to try to update the dp via the pictures folder

well then your only option left is to reinstall the os on your BB

I have the same problem

I tried everything...

4- BBSAK then reloaded OS
5- Update host routing table
6- Pull the battery

No change @ all , change picture from anywhere , the dp still the old one on opposite partys side

BLACKBERRY HELP - THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM

this may be a bit on the farfetched side, but try reformatting the memory card (backing up everything on it first) and go from there. had thumbnail issues recently and a formatof the memory card did the trick

i bought a new memory and try to change the dp and it still the same

well then, try a different os version on your BB, dont use the same one again. do a selective restore of your data (or just use a restore from Blackberry Protect).
