Delivery Status Notification(Failure)
I am receiving Delivery failure to all of my emails that i send to this specifi address xxxxx@att.blackberry.net. The weird thing is that the delivery failure arrives a week after I send my email and this is the message I get from postmaster@att.blackberry.net:
Your message:
To: xxxxxxxxx@att.blackberry.net
Subject: abc
Sent Date: 37:50 +0000
has not been delivered to the recipient's BlackBerry Handheld.
The delivery failure email also has a TXT attachment :
Final-Recipient: RFC822;xxxx@att.blackberry.net
Action: Failed
Status: 5.0.0
What does this mean? I've also tried to send a PIN message to that contact and it shows a Check mark next to it but without the D
I've also tried to add this person on BBM and it says that it's pending authorization.
Could it be that he has changed a device? Blocked me specifically? Thanks - 05-14-2012, 09:01 AM #2
Looks like their BIS is disconnected or changed
you get the undelivered failure a week later because thats how long the server will try for
You get the PIN check because it hit the server as well but never got delivered
call you contact and get updated contact infoBIG UP BIG UP, ITS A STICK UP STICK UP
I may be blunt, but it was the only way you would understand! @Fubaz

Thank you for the quick response. I've also tried to send an SMS from by BlackBerry to his and it showed as D with a check mark next to it. But I am not in the U.S., so this is an overseas SMS. Would that be an indicator that they did get the SMS?
