Debranding 9780
Is it possible to debrand a 9780 or edit/change the bootrom?

Nope, as the branding is built into the OS for the particular cell carrier the device was original manufactured for. There are reports that it can be done, but it involves a lot of sketchy/iffy programs and files.

Debranding 9780
i wish i could do that, but the best thing is to unlock the BB instead. yes it blows when u see another carrier's logo when all u want to see is the original blackberry startup, but i guess we learn to live with it
