change blackberry 3g bands

hi guys,

my 9780 is original the north american version with 3g bands (1900, 850, 2100) i unlocked it and am using with Tmobile in the US and the phone works great on edge, but tmobile 3g is 1700. if i was to flash the Tmobile os6 on my phone will that enable the 1700 3g.

no, the bands are built in to the chipset
you will need to sell that one and buy one with the proper bands if you choose to use it in the way described.

ok thanks for the reply i guess il use edge until the next upgrade. any other tips to make browsing on edge faster with blackberry browser (i like it better than opera)

Use wi-fi as much as possible.

Try disabling Java Script in the browser options.
