cant restore backup - data "read-only"

Hi all,

i'm not able to restore my data with DM6 because in detailed view of restore process all files like address book are "read only" so I cant select them...

What can I do?

What happend before:

1. wiped device
2. did BES activation <- was BIS before
3. tried to restore data <- didnt work
4. set same device password as before
5. tried to restore date <- didnt work

At what point in the process does this occur? Have you tried to do a device switch instead? By any chance did you interrupt the back-up process of the back-up file you are trying to use to restore (this can corrupt the back-up file)?

the backup works...i have used it before.

If your a BB Protect user you can resotre from within the app.

BB Protect doesnt work for BES as far as I know.

the link worked for the address book very well but I also need to restore my "password keeper" any idea how I can do that...at the moment it is greyed out!

any ideas - i'm sorry to be unpolite by double posting but there are all my passwords stored and I really need them.

I get that whenever I try to lod stuff for apps that are not installed. Double check.

You cal also try downgrading Desktop Manager to early versions. BigBadWulf posted a lik somewhere, but google should work too.

Are you sure the back up isn't encrypted?
