Default cant restore backup - data "read-only"

    Hi all,

i'm not able to restore my data with DM6 because in detailed view of restore process all files like address book are "read only" so I cant select them...

    What can I do?

    What happend before:

    1. wiped device
    2. did BES activation <- was BIS before
    3. tried to restore data <- didnt work
    4. set same device password as before
    5. tried to restore date <- didnt work

    thanks for any help!

At what point in the process does this occur? Have you tried to do a device switch instead? By any chance did you interrupt the back-up process of the back-up file you are trying to use to restore (this can corrupt the back-up file)?

I get that whenever I try to lod stuff for apps that are not installed. Double check.

You cal also try downgrading Desktop Manager to early versions. BigBadWulf posted a lik somewhere, but google should work too.

Are you sure the back up isn't encrypted?

What do you mean by encrypted. The backup was created from the same phone (same pin), the phone was locked and is still locked with the same pwd...

You have the option to put a password on the backup as well. You'd know if you had encrypted it, so don't worry about it.
