Try to delete your wifi hot spot profile, reboot phone if needed and try to connect/add your wifi hot spot.

I connect my blackberry to all kind of WiFi routers owned by clients. Not seen any real problems so far. Blackberry WiFi is so comically good that there are some places in my local streets that I get a WiFi connection instead of a 3G one as I walk past the house of somewhere I have worked.

When entering the wireless key, pay attention to the exact key being entered. It is easy to make a typo. Delete it and add it again if you are having problems.

Post some more details about your WiFi router here and I'll see what can be done.

Remember Upper and Lower case are different in a WiFi key.

Also, have you had any geeky mates mess with your Wireless Box? There are various technical options in there like MAC Address filtering they may have played around with.

Thanks for your reaction. I think it's a problem between my local wi-fi and my phone. Yesterday i tried to connect to the wi-fi from a friend of mine and that worked. What could you advise me to do? Change some settings in my wireless box?

So far i know nobody did anything to my wireless box..

Okay - first question, how many wifi devices have you got on that same Router?

It may be simplest to start by resetting the wireless key in the router. This will mean reconnecting any other wireless devices, but at least you are then 100% sure that you are using the right key to connect to your router.

It will help if you let me know which brand name and model router you have.
