Hello all - Im desperately trying to update my blackberry. I am trying to update from version .448 to version .723. After I download the file and go to install it comes up with the error of:

Error 1606. Could not access network location 0.

Can someone tell me what this means and possible solutions? I hit retry a few times and I am doing this under Admin Account.... this is very frustrating. PS i was hoping this update would fix my blackberry from randomly shutting off when its not being charged soo please respond back as soon as possible if you can help! Thanks in advance.

Maybe you can try re-downloading the OS from here,

I'm guessing the installer is corrupted?

Which install method are you using? If you are not using your phone's network provider copy of the OS you should be running loader.exe found in the program files folder.

Also remember to delete both of the vendor.xml files.

(The full instructions for this are all over the forum. Especially in the 101 help. http://crackberry.com/blackberry-101...ting-system-os Though that forgets to point out the potential second vendor.xml that appears in your %APPDATA% folder sometimes.)
