I have a blackberry bold 9780 and recently got the white screen issue, to start with i thought it was the software but it turns out it was the lcd, i bought a new lcd and fitted it myself and it worked fine, woke up this morning and its white again? please helP!!

I have the same problem. One day it was working fine. I placed it in my holster. I pulled it out later to check email and the screen was white. I pulled the battery and rebooted and it came back white. I searched the internet and found this JL Commander file. Did that and screen is still white. No need to reload operating system. Screen is still white. I was going to replace my screen and see if that fixes the problem but i see you did that and it didn't. Did you ever get yours fixed and if so how?
