Default Blackberry 9780 Trackpad Serious Damage. HELP !!!

    Hi Everyone

    Im new to this forum.

I have a problem with my blackberry 9780 which I purchased online.
The problem is that the trackpad is not working at all even after replacing it, I send it in for repairs but they told me its beyond economic repair and there was was bad workmanship on it before. After searching Google, I found this website:

    Blackberry 9700 trackpad Fixed with easy 4 jumpers %100 % Work [Archive] - GSM-Forum

Now the question is how do I go about doing this.

    Thanks to all
    Bye

looks similar to the solution for the BB 9700 as well.

As to HOW you go about doing this......... well ermmm. The shielding covering those components must be removed with a heat gun or with an industrial reworking machine. THEN you will need soldering experience, and non-shaky hands!

If you have none of the above, then it's more economical to get another phone...... and I'm being honest. It could also KILL your phone if too much of anything above goes wrong. If you have access to the cheaper heat gun though, then you can give it a try. If it works then you give yourself a pat on the back. If not then it's JUST a phone and is easily replaceable
Check out the BlackBerry Phone Repairs website http://cellphonediary.com/
