Hi

My 9780's screen has become faulty ( pressure damage ) and I need to replace it.
I have dismantled the Blackberry and at the back of the LCD, it says 004/111.

Now checking on eBay, I have found a seller selling a LCD with this part no. but he claims it is for the 8520.

Will this fit my 9780 ? I am a bit confused.

It won't work...
8520 screen resolution is 320 x 240
9780 screen resolution is 480 x 360

Another question, for the 9780, I can also see a 002/111 screen available. What is the difference between this and the 004/111 ?

No idea what the difference is, sorry... but the golden rule with screens is ALWAYS replace like for like serial numbers.
