It's been seen on Virgin Mobile Canada, and now Vodafone Spain.
Someone, in this very forum, HAS this device but it's unbranded.Perhaps life is just that...a dream and a fear. - 10-10-2010, 07:44 AM #4Proud owner of:

No its not, its OLD NEWS that people already have this phone...not that this is a new phone. That is why people are giving him the cold shoulder, you should search before making a new topic.
But I like this phone and have the Bold 9000, but I won't be getting this phone. I see no reason to buy a refresh, why? No other company releases refreshes, why can't RIM just release a NEW phone..... - 10-11-2010, 11:02 AM

Wrote out a long reply but I decided that ignorance is bliss. I'll just go ahead and agree that this thread has everything to do with people already owning a pre-release device for 900 dollars, and nothing about an official release.

IPhone, IPhone 3G, iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 4. How is that not a refresh? Droid, Droid2, droid X. Refreshes. The TMO sidekicks. There are other refreshes. The 9780 will appeal to 83xx owners, 88xx owners and 8900 owners. Possibly some 81xx owners. Maybe even 9700 owners who want the next one. There's enough of a base for the 9780. There's not enough of a base for an S2 refresh. My .02.
