Youtube won't work at all for me on 3G, says it's blocked or something, but have checked with my carrier and it isn't blocked, but when using TV Catchup, it doesn't work unless I delete the Blackberry Internet Browsing 2 Service book?

Weird.. Well, sometimes there are some videos that don't work for me as well, for them i just watch an alternative vid, or if you can wait, you can try it over the Wifi. I think it might work!

Happens with all videos, YouTube doesn't work on 3G at all. TVCatchup only works on 3G when I delete BIBS2 Service Book, YouTube and TVCatchup work without a problem on WiFi.

If it's not working over 3g check and make sure that the apn settings are correct for your specific network. Under options /device /advanced system settings /tcp ip. Best place to look is Google or your service provider's website, if not there call in and the customer service representative will be able to tell you the specifics.

yup. or you could also try once clearing the apn.. like i have done.. currently my apn settings are blank.. and almost everything works!!

Try this once too..

Edit: Almost everything means everything except a couple or so youtube videos... I would rate the hit-rate as 99.99992%

I have tried with and without APN settings, I have tried removing and resending service books, everything.

The BIBS2 problem is like a chronic disease: you can treat the symptoms (by deleting it), but the fix is out of your hands. Since fresh service books are pushed at most every 24 hours, you can't do anything about it.

Do you think it's possible to make an app that checks every 12 hours or whatever for the service book and deletes it? Or is it not possible for apps to have those sorts of permissions?

No, it's not possible... just call GiffGaff and get them to fix their OS6 service books
