    Default 9780 is the Blackberry R020 ??

This is something I read-- (the specs sound an awful lot like the 9780

It's felt almost as if the BlackBerry smartphone rumor mill has been a little too quiet -- dare we say burnt out -- since the Torch hit the scene (BlackPad notwithstanding, of course). That's all changed with a pair of interesting leaks care of Boy Genius Report. Behold a successor to the Bold 9700, the R020. The tri-band UMTS / quad-band EDGE device is gonna disappoint some with the same 624MHz clockspeed and 2.44-inch 480 x 360 screen, but it does have twice the RAM (512MB), a 5 megapixel camera with AF and flash, and of course runs on BlackBerry 6

And kill my battery? I don't think so. I rather enjoy my 3 days of Moderate usage and 2 days of heavy usage I can get out of my 9700, thank you very much.

no offense, but im really sick of this stupid hemi "joke." its not funny. it really isnt. we arent asking for a 4ghz+ phone with absurd or ridiculous specs. thanks tho for trying to make light of the situation, but it really isnt helping.

ppl are just asking for a respectable processor to run the phone more smoothly when we have multiple apps open. 1 ghz is not asking for much when the competition is about to release dual core phones that are 1.2 ghz+

back to the op. it is the 9780.
