Default 9700 or worth waiting for the 9780?

I'm trying to find out what the main differences are between these two, to decide if i should upgrade from the tour now or wait?

The 9780 has better insides. Here's a quick overview of the 9780.

Yup... if you're sticking with Verizon, then it's ONLY the 9650 for you

The 9700 and 9780 are both GSM devices

Well, in that case, if it's between sticking with the Tour or getting the 9650, definitely get the 9650.

9780 is the same as the 9700, only it has 512MB instead of 256MB.

The 9700 is a great phone so can't go wrong if you upgrade now but at this point and time, how far away is the 9780? Might as well get the latest one with more memory and better camera. I actually got offered good money for my 9700 today and from a Bell store employee. Think I will actually sell it and wait for RIM's next best thing.

Anyone know when the 9780 is due out? Will it have OS 6.0? I have an upgrade available now and am trying to decide if I should use it to get the Torch for my wife or wait for this 9780 and get it and give my wife my 9700. Either way, she really doesn't care but she did show interest in the Torch. She definitely isn't a mobile fanatic. Uses it for the phone and like the Bubbles game.
