First of all i don't know what device you're using so it may be different for you, but i'm on a 9700 and my conclusions are: go for .461. Yes, .448 was not bad, but .461 has been the best for me so far, gone are the days of the dreaded battery drain that plagued other releases of OS6 (I still got them occasionally on .448). Memory leak seems manageable. I almost never get loading clocks (except when downloading apps from appworld) and all in all, things seem very snappy.

My guide for fixing the BBM cursor worls on ANY OS.

Furthermore, 461 is the snappiest OS on ANY BlackberryDevice. I feel like I got a new hone with this OS.

    GPS lock is instant.

    Browsing is mich faster

Battery life is about the same as 448 averaging at 5% / hour discharge rate.

359 has the best battery life at 2-3% discharge rate but the 2 leaks are snappier.

Kindly note that battery discharge rates ma vary depending on the running applications on ur BB, so it might be better for u or worse.

I have the following running in my background:

    BBM
    Browser
    MuktiAlarm Clock
    BerryWeather
    QuickLaunch
WallpaperChanger Pro (Changing wallpapers automatically every 15 mins)

ML, why are you defending your guide when I made NO attempt on saying it doesn't work?

    I didn't use it.
I can't tell if it will work or not. So, don't jump into conclusion and get defensive for nothing. Not everybody here is trying to attack you...

Wait a moment... I thought you couldn't see my posts...

EDIT: Hmm... Makes you wonder thou... 7am.. 1pm...

All I can say is .461 hands down. I've had used both leaked and official .448 builds previously, and now I guess I will stay in .461, since it has more stable build and not to mention, more snappier than ever.

No .461 doesn't have VVM, I just took the .cod's out of the .448 OS I have on my computer for my 9700.

As stated before, if you are in UK this is another non optimal RIL build.

Radio Interface Layer - Part that interfaces with the network. Not ideal in this build :-)

    Next build however . . .

How to determine whether a build has a good RIL or not?

Go for .461. OS6 on a 9700 just keeps getting beta and beta - pun quite intended .

I've had no issues with this, don't think it fixes the double key input, I just had to swap mine out. I'm noticing that it is worse on BBM and wondering if it is software after all

It IS a hardware issue... there are no cod files that control keypad input in the OS

Have 9780 T-Moblie. .461 is fast, but sloppy. No VVM, Bookmarks page got caught in the copier, and of course the missing BBM cursor. Downloaded official .448 for carrier 3UK works like a charm. Clearly not as snappy but stable for what its worth. Only issue with .448 is VVM volume, has to be up really high for normal listening on speaker. Gotta loves those Canadians!
