I've tried searching for something about this problem but I'm either blind or using the wrong search terms.
My problem is that none of the "Today" themes I've tried will display all my messages. All the hidden Today themes I've tried show only my SMS inbox and the one unhidden Today theme I've tried shows only my emails.
Is this just a setting in those particular themes or is there some problem? And can anyone point me to a basic and clean theme that shows all the messages in Today (Calendar and Messages show, preferably hidden)?

Think I was being dumb - I've realised new emails show up in the hidden Today themes, but not read ones. What was confusing me was that existing texts were showing up when I rolled over the SMS inbox icon.
