By that I mean themes that will actually run on OS6, not OS6 look alike themes. With the OS6 leak for 9700 now out there it would be nice to have something other than that stock theme that gets installed with it.

Theme Studio 6 does not support the 9700 format from what I've seen/heard. Yet.

Wouldn't the 9780 be the same thing or is that not in theme studio either?

    No 9780 support either.

Basically if you're running OS6 on your 9700, you are going to be using the default theme for quite a while.

does that also include the other same resolution phones, the 9630 and 9650? geez, I have tons of themes, and they'll all be useless?

If you're running OS6 on anything but a Torch 9800, themes won't work right now. It doesn't matter which device they came from, you're stuck with the default theme until RIM releases updated tools.

Which, as a theme builder myself, is exactly why I'm not loading OS6 on my 9700. I'm happy with OS5 and all my themes thank you very much.

OS6 is a legit build. No issues so far and all my paid apps are compatible. The features it provides, even with the OEM theme, blows OS5 features out of the water. The phone is running just as smooth as it was on OS5 too. I was skeptical at first being that it's the first build but after a friend said she had no issues, I installed it and Im glad I did.

Whenever the new theme builder is released, that'll be the day I celebrate and lose my mind.
Cant wait til OS6 theme builder is released for the 9700.

Hey Dollface, the themes I had on my phone dont even appear on this OS so yeah, your OS5 themes will be useless .. but themes are like money, they come and go. Im sure you'll find some beautiful themes soon enough for that OS6.

Thanks. You never know I guess. I grabbed TB 6, but as mentioned, is only for the Torch so I'm not doing anything in it. If I can't test on my own device, I don't like releasing it.

no way to extract the default theme from the device and start messing with it??

Or does touch/non touch in tb ruin my master plan?
