I downloaded a theme OTA today and have realized that is it nowhere to be found! Completely MIA. Either it has completely vanished or I may be just experiencing a severe "case of the Mondays." Boo. Thoughts?

If they are not under Options > Themes... then check under Options > Applications... maybe you downloaded a theme that is not built for the 9700.

i forgot to mention, it is in the third party applications list...so i guess it's not COMPLETELY MIA, but it cannot be activated from that list as far as i can see. i feel really dumb...this is my 4th blackberry after all. hahah

Then it's not built for the 9700... delete it and try getting a different theme, or build your own.

we cant use tour themes? they both have the same screen resolution...

The screen really doesn't have that much to do with the differences in the systems, I'm thinking. Wallpaper may be interchangeable, but there are some differences that make some themes (and such) device-specific.

I have a few today plus themes that were running on my 8900 and they run just fine on my 9700 as well.

i can also vouch that 8900 themes work flawlessly on my bold 9700.
